Hard Hearts & Throwing Stones

November 16, 2025

In this concluding message on Acts 7, Brother Austin examines the final moments of Stephen—the first martyr of the early church. While Stephen was filled with the Holy Spirit and saw the glory of God, his audience responded by "gnashing their teeth" and hardening their hearts.

This message challenges us to look inward: Are we approaching God with the "childlike faith" of a four-year-old in a towel-cape, or have we become "stiff-necked" and resistant to the Spirit? From the dangers of defining "good" by our own standards to the "stones" we throw through gossip, compromise, and comfort, Brother Austin calls the church to move from throwing stones to laying them as a foundation for the next generation.
